For those of you who read the post about the amazing Boom Choco Boom dairy-free, gluten-free chocolate bars, you also know I bought a few boxes of Lucy's cookies from Whole Foods to try out. These cookies are dairy-, gluten-, and nut-free and come in Chocolate Chip, Oatmeal, Cinnamon Thin, and Sugar. Developed by Dr. Lucy, whose child has severe food allergies, this dessert option is a decent choice. They certainly don't taste bad, but they are very crunchy and not super sweet. However, after one or two you get used to the "new" taste and they can be a satisfying snack. Perhaps dunk them in rice milk to get that extra needed moisture.
